Overview

Odíhg Oytāādù was founded durring the late 15th century in summer of the year 1373, by Córmpf̄s Goī̌ 'Hot Aplenty' Gōw̄y Ha̋mpf̄kī Ya̋mp̪f̄ Lloyd. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Odíhg Oytāādù was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Oytāādù is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Odíhg Oytāādù is buildings are built arround a single premissive paverstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Odíhg Oytāādù's peasent-grade are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Odíhg Oytāādù has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Odíhg Oytāādù long.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Oytāādù's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.
